FAQs

What makes Playnist different from other platforms?

Most gaming platforms focus on stats, leaderboards or competition. Playnist is different: it’s built for reflection and connection. You can organise your games, but you’ll also find space to journal, review and share your thoughts. Think of it as a living, breathing gaming journal, not just a checklist.

When is Playnist launching?

Playnist will launch first with Ambassador Access, where our first wave of passionate gamers will help shape the platform from the inside. After that, we’ll roll out to the wider community with our Community Beta, hopefully in time for the cosiest season in gaming! Sign up to the waitlist and follow us on socials for updates.

Which platforms is Playnist available on?

Playnist will be available on Web at launch, so you can dive in from anywhere. We have a mobile app on the roadmap eventually, so you’ll be able to take your gaming journal with you on the go.

Is Playnist global?

Yes! Playnist is open to gamers worldwide, with a global game database. At launch the platform will be in English, but we’d love to offer more languages as our community grows.

Will it cost money to use?

Nope! Playnist is completely free to use with all the core features.

Can I import my existing game library?

For launch you’ll be able to manually log your games easily from our database of over 250,000 titles, powered by IDGB. We also plan to explore import features from platforms like Steam in the future.

Is this only for certain types of gamers?

Not at all, Playnist is for anyone who loves games. Whether that’s cosy life sims, RPGs, strategy epics, or anything in between. If it’s part of your gaming life, it belongs on Playnist.
